  • Bethenny Frankel said Meghan Markle has been "f**king it up" since leaving Britain
  • She revealed she lost major deals after slamming Meghan on Twitter
  • She also said Meghan is a bad business strategist

Bethenny Frankel has taken a swipe at Meghan Markle, calling her a "terrible businessperson."

In a video on TikTok, the "Real Housewives of New York City" star also slammed the Duchess of Sussex for being a mess since her royal exit.

"Timing is everything, don't believe your own BS & play chess not checkers," Frankel captioned her no-holds-barred video, urging her followers to tune in to her "Just B" podcast for more of her takes on Meghan and other controversial issues.

The reality star went on to share her thoughts on the Duchess and her "sh*t show," referring to the press Meghan has been doing to promote her "Archetypes" podcast. "Maybe I'll be cancelled for saying this, but I just think we have to be able to say something without getting beaten down," she said.

"She is a terrible, terrible businessperson and strategist. She's playing checkers, not chess, because she is overplaying her hand, and she is painting herself into a corner, becoming a woman without a country," she added of Meghan's undertakings since stepping down as a working royal.

Frankel also described how Meghan has been "f**king it up" since leaving Britain, saying, "She got out of something that was a terrible situation for her, and she is really f**king it up."

The Skinnygirl founder went on to reveal she once found herself on the receiving end of death threats after speaking ill of Meghan on Twitter. Despite that, she's standing by her negative impression of the Duchess.

"I remember talking about this before the Oprah interview and getting death threats and losing major deals and having many A-list people text me saying that they agree with me secretly," she said. "But then friends of hers text me, 'Please take down what you said,'" she said.

Frankel was referring to a tweet she wrote hours before Meghan and Prince Harry's controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, in which the royal couple detailed the duchess' negative experiences in the palace.

"Cry me a river," she wrote at the time. "The plight of being a game show host, fairly unknown actress, to suffering in a palace, w tiaras & 7 figure weddings for TWO WHOLE YEARS to being a household name w Oprah on speed dial, fetching 7 m for interviews, hundreds of millions in media deals."

Toward the end of her video, Frankel described Meghan as a "polarizing person," saying she's not a good business strategist because she does not listen to smart people. "Unfortunately she's not married to someone who can help her navigate this, because it doesn't seem like she listens to him," she said.
