Fans of Jhené Aiko and Big Sean are in for a treat.

The rapper took to Twitter to confirm that he and Aiko will release a new album as Twenty88. Fans can look forward to new music from the rumored couple next year, Sean said. Aside from that, the two will also release solo projects.

The two launched their collaborative project early this year, according to Billboard. Shortly after their project was released, however, the public's focus shifted to the two artists’ closeness. Rumors that the two are in a relationship have been going around for months now, although they have yet to confirm anything.

Speculations started when they spoke openly about their admiration for each other. The rumors were fueled when they shared a kiss onstage during their performance at Powerhouse in Anaheim, California in June. Since then, the two have been dropping hints about the relationship. At one point, Aiko even called Sean her “next baby father.” Many sweet photos of the two have also been released online.

When their collaboration came out, the two maintained that they are both single. Music producer Dot Da Genius, however, confirmed in March that he and Aiko were already married. Aiko filed for divorce from the producer in August, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

Meanwhile, Sean and Aiko have been vocal about their musical chemistry. Speaking of their musical relationship, Sean told USA Today, “I trust her tastes and admire her style. She’s really surprised me, too. On this project, I feel like she’s really pushed herself and tried new things and new attitudes that I haven’t necessarily heard from her yet in her solo stuff.”

Prior to their joint album, Sean and Aiko also collaborated on the 2015 track “I Know,” which was part of the rapper’s “Dark Sky Paradise” album.
