‘Blindspot’ Season 2

“Blindspot” Season 2 lead star Jaimie Alexander recently described the upcoming episodes as an “emotional roller coaster.”

While speaking with E! News, the actress confirmed that Season 2 will be packed with action and drama that were never featured in the show in Season 1. Alexander also revealed that a slew of new characters will be introduced in the upcoming episodes.

“We have a lot of new faces who are going to clarify who Jane Doe really is," she told the outlet of the new characters. Archie Panjabi has already been cast to play the role of the head of a secret department at NASA.

“Blindspot” Season 2 cast members Sullivan Stapleton and Audrey Esparza are both also excited for the upcoming episodes. “Season 2 is going to pack even more punches than the first,” Esparza said.

Stapleton added that there will also be car chases and other dangerous stunts. “I’m excited to see where it takes us,” he said.

In other news, Spoiler TV recently unveiled teasers for “Blindspot” Season 2, episodes 1, 2, 4 and 5. According to the publication, episode 1 will see Jane looking for Shepherd. In the finale episode for Season 1, Jane’s ex-boyfriend Oscar was terrified of the villainous character. He was the man who erased Jane’s memories, according to TV Guide.

In episode 2, Jane will reunite with Weller and his teammates at the FBI, and they will all work together. Reade (Rob Brown) will also build a case against Coach Jones. The character was first introduced in Season 1, when Jane found out that the championship numbers tattooed on her body was connected to Jones.

Episode 4 will have some scenes centered on Jane and Weller’s true feelings for each other. Episode 5 will revolve around a senator and a US marshal’s case. Weller will also be given a new title as Assistant Director. Reade will gather more information about the coach.

“Blindspot” Season 2 will premiere on NBC on Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. ET.
