She’s been concerned about what she sees is a growing obsession with her daughter for a while, and now that Hope is not only engaged to Thomas but planning to marry him within 24 hours, Brooke will find herself unable to stay silent—even if it means destroying her own marriage to Ridge as a result on the Wednesday, July 17 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) has been continually concerned about the situation involving Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope (Annika Noelle), but her attempts to convince her daughter have fallen on deaf ears on the CBS soap. Hope is convinced she needs to do this in order to give Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) a mother and has refused to listen to either Brooke or Liam (Scott Clifton), who have both continually expressed concerns. Now, knowing it will be a risk to her own marriage, and may also not help, Brooke will turn her criticisms to her own husband, and Thomas’ father, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye).

“After Ridge confronts Brooke for hating Thomas marrying Hope, Brooke lashes out,” spoilers reveal.

Brooke will naturally want to see if anyone can see sense because she is deeply concerned about the situation, but as Ridge continues defending his son as a good guy and stating he thinks this is the right move for everyone, especially since it also means Liam (Scott Clifton) is truly free to reunite with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in the process, Brooke is sure to lose it completely, and may risk being threatened if she doesn’t support the union as a result.

Meanwhile, Liam is also dreading the upcoming marriage, specifically since he knows Hope still loves him, and he loves her—but he also isn’t going to get through to Hope because she has maintained he needs to raise Kelly and Phoebe. However, it won’t keep him from reminiscing over his past, as he looks back on the life he had—and still feels he should have—even if Hope says it’s too painful to want.

“Liam looks back on his romantic memories with Hope,” spoilers state.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
