Thanksgiving already arrived on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” and for good reason- the CBS soap is taking the rest of the week off in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday.

In honor of the holiday, CBS has pre-empted the popular soap opera, and will instead be airing a special presentation of Thanksgiving football in its place. Sports fans will be delighted that they can watch the Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions face off, but those who enjoy the drama with some of Los Angeles’ wealthiest families will have to wait to see how things continue to play out.

In addition, the show will be pre-empted on Friday as well, due to a special broadcast on CBS. The programming schedule shows “10 Greatest College Football Running Backs” airing during the usual time slot that “Bold and the Beautiful” occupies.

However, “B&B” will be back next week with new episodes, and some long-dormant storylines will begin to heat up once again.

According to spoilers, the storyline concerning Bill’s (Don Diamont) attempted murder will be revisited, as Justin (Aaron Spears) and Detective Sanchez (Jeremy Ray Valdez) start to question why he no longer seems to care about catching the person who shot him earlier in the year, unaware he already knows who tried to kill him.

Meanwhile, Taylor (Hunter Tylo) will return to town once again and will admit she’s concerned that Bill won’t keep protecting her any longer, and could send her to jail for trying to kill him.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” resumes with new episodes on Monday, Nov. 26 on CBS.
