YouTube star David Dobrik recently got his Tesla smashed by none other than Sacha Baron Cohen’s iconic character Borat while promoting his latest movie “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.”

The actor paid a visit to the famous YouTuber's home in Los Angeles to discuss his latest project. However, their meeting did not start on a good note as Borat drove his van into the driveway and crashed straight into Dobrik’s Tesla. The YouTube star asked Cohen to back up so that he could see the damage caused by the hit.

The crash broke one of the car's doors. After seeing the damage, Borat said that these things are bound to happen when someone buys a “cheap car.” To which, Dobrik replied that the vehicle costs around “$150,000.”

Cohen’s character failed to fix the door and tried to make a truce by giving him a bag filled with meat. He also joked that he has also brought bats from Wuhan.

“We have bats. We have fresh pangolin. They are really healthy. I have brought them from Wuhan,” Cohen said in the video.

Later in the video, the Kazakh journalist also joked that he has come here to promote his latest movie because if he doesn’t, he will be “executed.”

After the discussion, Dobrik said he wants Borat to meet his friend who’s a big fan of the character, and seen the first movie multiple times. The YouTuber surprised her friend as she screamed loudly after seeing Borat in the back seat of the car.

“She is possessed. She has a possession. She have rabies? Why she scream,” Cohen said after his friend’s reaction.

The YouTuber took Borat out to see his hometown LA and asked what he thinks about him and his channel. Borat replied that Dobrik is really “famous” in Kazakhstan, but before Dobrik could celebrate that moment he yelled “Not.”

“Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” is a sequel to the 2006 blockbuster comedy film “Borat.” The first movie was a huge success for the “Trial of the Chicago 7” star and won him a Golden Globe.

The second movie has opened to positive reviews and critics are raving about Cohen’s performance. Empire, in its review, wrote that “Borat 2” is the comedy people “need right now” and gave it four stars.

The Rolling Stone called the movie a “knockout” and gave it four and a half stars.

“Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” currently holds a score of 82% on review site Rotten Tomatoes.
