“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” re-runs are scheduled for May as coronavirus pandemic delays episode 155. The team is also running a special project alongside the rebroadcasts.

The Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has extended the state of emergency in the country until May 31 to contain the spread of the coronavirus, according to Japan Times.

TV Tokyo released a statement confirming the postponement of “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 155 and beyond.

“Thank you for supporting Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Due to the declaration of a State of Emergency for COVID-19 by the Japanese government, the production schedule for new episodes of the program has been impacted. As a result, we will change the broadcast/streaming schedule for newer episodes,” read the statement, via Crunchyroll.

The team also started the “At Home with Boruto” project every week.

The voice actors perform live tweets during the broadcast of the episode.

The updated schedule with new episode dates will be released at a later date.

In “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 155, it is a rainy day, and Mitsuki can be seen with his cat Mikazuki. Later, the cat takes him to a wounded man lying in an alley. The man tells Mitsuki that he is here to meet his sister.

Mitsuki decides to help him, but Team 7 is called by the police for a joint mission. The mission is to protect the president of a company that is being targeted by a serial killer named The Bloodthirsty Killer Rain, according to OrganicDinosaur. It has to be seen if the serial killer and the injured man have any connection.
