Episode 209 of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," which was delayed due to the Tokyo Olympics, has got an updated release date.

TV Tokyo has confirmed "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 209 is scheduled to air this Sunday.

Earlier, the official English Twitter handle of the anime had confirmed the delay.

"The next episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is delayed. Thank you for your understanding!" the Boruto account tweeted Sunday.

The synopsis of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 209 reveals Kawaki is feeling bad for Konohagakure and his friends.

He recalls the horror that unfolded within Boruto and his own self because of Karma. Kawaki is aware of how dangerous Karma can be. In the previous episode, Karma caused Momoshiki Otsutsuki to overtake Boruto's consciousness.

Kara continues to monitor Kawaki and Boruto's moves closely and after the Boro incident, Jigen must be interested in getting Boruto's Karma.

In Episode 208 of the Boruto anime series, Boro was badly injured after the new Team 7's attacks. However, Boro continued his rampage, threatening his enemies.

Suddenly, Boruto, who was severely wounded, awakened but his form was different and Boro recognized him. It turned out that Boruto was Momoshiki's vessel.

"Despite sustaining serious damage from the new Team 7, Boro goes on a mad rampage, threatening Boruto and the others with total annihilation. Suddenly, Boruto awakens, but his consciousness has been taken over by Momoshiki Otsutsuki! As Sarada, Mitsuki, and Kawaki watch in shock, the resurrected Momoshiki displays enormous power," read the synopsis of Episode 208, according to Crunchyroll.
