Weeks after the death of Florida fugitive Brian Laundrie, sleuths have spotted a sleeping bag at the location where his remains were found.

The discovery was made by a local woman, according to the TikTok video posted from her account named ChroniclesofOlivia.

"Local woman finds old sleeping bag near where Brian Laundre was found. We checked it out," the words on the TikTok video reads. "Right over there is the field where partial remains of Brian Laundrie were found. It was where law enforcement had the tent and the perimeter set up."

The clip then zooms to show the sleeping bag hidden among leaves and dirt along the trail of the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park.

However, a second person is heard commenting in the video the bag appears to be "much older than something Brian may have used." A later clip shows a sleuth taking pictures in the Big Slough canal.

The video has garnered over 3.5 million views with over 1,300 comments, one of which read: "The sloppiness of this entire investigation is embarrassing. Gabby deserves so much better than this. SMH (sic)."

The TikTok account has been independently covering updates about the case since the news of Gabby Petito's disappearance broke. The account has 1.2 million followers.

Earlier, there were reports the Florida woman with a background in criminal justice has been searching the Carlton Reserve for the remaining bones of Laundrie.

Another TikTok video posted Monday showed the woman using a stick to sift through the swamp. She and her daughter have been spending the last 10 days searching for at least five hours a day for "significant clues."

With no indication yet from officials on what happened between the duo during their cross-country trip, many believe the posts made by Laundrie on his Pinterest page may help reveal the mystery. Report said the posts seem to hint at creepy and macabre thoughts he was having. Laundrie’s final post on the site, a hand-drawn cover of a pamphlet called “Burnt Out,” could have indicated the explosive fight he and Petito were believed to have had the last time she was seen alive.
