Briana Renée wanted to be the first little person to compete on “Dancing With the Stars,” but “Little Women: LA” co-star Terra Jolé beat her to it. She was chosen to dance during Season 23 with partner Sasha Farber. Assuming she was jealous of her co-star, friend Elena Gant asked Renée how she felt about Jolé’s in an exclusive clip, which was obtained by Radar Online Tuesday.

Jolé, 36, was so busy with “DWTS” that the only time her friends saw her was when they visited her at the set. Co-stars Tonya Banks and Elena Gant revealed Jolé was having a hard time dancing since she gave birth to her son, Greyson, weeks before she was slated to dance.

When Gant and Banks asked Renée if they had seen her, Renée said she wasn’t invited. “I could’ve sworn she reached out to you,” Banks said.

Gant assumed she wasn’t invited because Renée was envious. “Just be honest,” Gant said. “You’re not jealous even a tiny little bit?”

But Renée denied being jealous. “I’d love to be there if there was ever the opportunity,” she said. The reality star, however, made it clear she wanted to be on the show. Gant added that Renee’s agent never submitted her for the show.

“I’m not upset with Terra for being on Dancing With the Stars ,” Renee confirmed to the “Little Women: LA” cameras in a confessional. “I just thought we were good enough friends that she would at least invite me so I can go see her perform.”

Jolé was thrilled to be on the ABC series. “It was kind-of surreal to be asked to be a part of the show. I didn’t want to let myself down or anyone else down. I didn’t want to be a disappointment,” the mother-of-two told International Business Times in December. “I gave the show everything I had to make my journey successful.”

Jolé joined “DWTS” three weeks after she gave birth via cesarian section. Women are supposed to abstain from exercise for six weeks after giving birth and it’s usually longer for a C-section.

Even though she had permission from a doctor to go ahead with show, Jolé suffered three hernias and a split diastasis, which is when a mother’s belly bulges because the right and left stomach muscles expanded.

Jolé’s “DWTS” journey was documented by Season 6 of “Little Women: LA.” The reality series airs Tuesdays on Lifetime at 9 p.m. EST.
