  • He got on a dating app called Feeld but thought it was "too sexual"
  • "Tinder's great but Hinge is what I really want to get on": Capaldi

British singer Lewis Capaldi reveals he joined several dating apps but he got "kicked off" in a few of them after users surmised that his profile is fake.

The 25-year-old Grammy Award nominee appeared in an episode of "Diary of a CEO" podcast last week and explained why he got rejected on popular dating apps.

"I've just been kicked off Tinder because I think people think I'm fake," Capaldi said. "So, I've been kicked off Bumble, Tinder, Hinge... I love Tinder, Tinder's great but Hinge is what I really want to get on, because I feel like the mid-20s, that's what people are on."

Despite getting booted out of the said dating apps, the "Bruises" singer is still "on a bunch" of other dating apps including one that was a bit too bold for his taste.

"Someone told me to get on this one called Feeld, and I was like, 'Cool, it's another dating app, whatever,'" Capaldi recalled. "And I go on it, and it's like so sexual. And I'm like, 'This is way beyond anything I'm tuned in for.'"

The "Leaving My Love Behind" artist seems to be placing good faith in dating apps after he met his last flame online.

"I met my last girlfriend on Tinder and she's f—ing great," he said in the podcast.

The singer also asked his future dates to be realistic in their expectations of him.

"If I met the right person, I'd be buzzed. But right now it's a bit unfair with the other person, they'd have to be quite an understanding human being."

Also in the podcast, the singer admitted that he sometimes feels insecure after having been in the spotlight for many years. "I had never been more insecure of myself than after I have done really well," he told the outlett. "I was second guess myself all the time."

Capaldi earlier revealed he was diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome which explains his shoulder twitches every now and then.

"The worst thing about it is when I'm excited I get it, when I'm stressed I get it, when I'm happy I get it. It happens all the time. Some days it's more painful than others and some days it's less painful. It looks a lot worse than it is. Sometimes it's quite uncomfortable...but it comes and goes," the singer added.
