  • Bryan Adams revealed his daughter Bunny, 10, also tested positive
  • The singer is fully vaccinated, according to his rep
  • Jon Bon Jovi also contracted the novel coronavirus

Bryan Adams released an update on his condition via social media after testing positive for the novel coronavirus.

The 61-year-old musician took to Instagram Sunday to greet his fans a Happy Halloween and thank them for sending him well-wishes following the news that he contracted COVID-19.

“Happy Halloween and thanks for all the well wishes. Please don’t worry, yes I had the Covid and thankfully had no symptoms,” he captioned a selfie he took where he’s seen sporting spiderweb-inspired glasses.

Adams went on to reveal that one of his daughters also contracted the virus, but 10-year-old Mirabella Bunny is only dealing with mild symptoms.

“Bunny my daughter had it too, with bit of a sore throat for night,” he wrote before adding that both of them are doing well. He also grabbed the opportunity to promote his recently released album “So Happy It Hurts” by using it as a hashtag at the end of his message.

In the same post, he accompanied his selfie with a photo of a Jack-o’-lantern with the title of the album inscribed on the pumpkin instead of a spooky face.

After being diagnosed with the disease, Adams had to skip his scheduled appearance at Tina Turner’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday.

Adams was supposed to perform a medley of songs including his duet with Turner from his “Reckless” album released in 1984, “It’s Only Love.”

A rep for Adams told Variety that the musician is fully vaccinated, which could probably be the reason why he’s not showing symptoms. The vaccination status of his girlfriend Alicia Grimaldi was not disclosed. The two are parents to Bunny and sister Lula Rosylea, 8.

Aside from Adams, Jon Bon Jovi also had to recently cancel his working engagements after testing positive for COVID-19. The “It’s My Life” singer was supposed to have a concert from Oct. 29 to 31 in Miami, but his diagnosis prompted him to cancel the event called “Runaway With JBJ.”

The scheduled concert supposedly comprised acoustic numbers by the singer, a Q&A with fans and a photo-op afterwards, on top of a Halloween costume party, according to Deadline.

Just like Adams, Bon Jovi is fully vaccinated and is doing well despite contracting the virus.
