BTS rapper J-Hope’s solo single “More” debuted on two Billboard charts this week. The song is a part of his upcoming album, “Jack in the Box,” which is set to be released on July 15.

The 27-year-old dancer and songwriter is the first among the septet to release a solo album following the band’s announcement of shifting their focus on individual activities. Following its release on July 1, “More” has conveniently climbed the No. 82 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100. Aside from this, the track also placed No. 2 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart.

J-Hope, also known as Jung Ho-Seok, earlier entered the Hot 100 chart when he collaborated with Becky G. for “Chicken Noodle Soup” in 2019. The track debuted at No. 81 on the chart and was J-Hope’s first entry in the chart apart from his bandmates. “Chicken Noodle Soup” also landed at No. 9 on the Digital Song Sales chart in the same year.

"More" reveals the rapper’s desire to introduce himself to fans as a gifted soloist with 11 years of “endless studying” and “self-learning” until he achieved the musical success that he is enjoying today. To date, J-Hope is the richest member of BTS with a net worth of $26 million. He makes his money largely through albums, tours, endorsements and his very successful 2018 solo mixtape “Hope World” which peaked at No. 38 on Billboard 200.

Aside from Billboard charts, “More” also topped iTunes charts in 84 regions all over the world.

Earlier, the “Butter” artist released teaser photos for his second solo single, “Arson.”

On Sunday, J-Hope took to his Instagram page and shared multiple images that depict the mood of his new cut from the soon-to-be-released album.

The concept photos of “Arson” see the BTS member posing next to a burning car. Dressed in a white jumpsuit, J-Hope appears unbothered by the damaged automobile as he looks directly into the camera with a spirited gaze. In another set of snaps, the K-pop star poses before the wreckage at night while wearing charred clothing. “I burned it all,” the rapper wrote in the caption.

J-Hope is set to appear at the “Lollapalooza” music festival on July 31 in Chicago with Green Day, Jane’s Addiction, The Kid Laroi, and Charli XCX.
