BTS' Jungkook shared a mysterious photo of himself on his Twitter page Thursday. It has led to speculations that the K-pop idol is preparing to reveal something about a new project.

The slightly blurred photo, which was uploaded on BTS' official Twitter page Thursday, shows the "Dynamite" singer wearing red contact lenses, with a deep red lip color. It was simply captioned, "Me, Myself, and Jung Kook." It was followed by two hashtags: "Photo_Folio" and "Editor_JK."

Fans speculated that this could be a hint about an upcoming project from the 24-year-old BTS member.

"Jungkook's photo released today is the start of a new BTS project, Jk being the first one! JUNGKOOK participated in his entire photoshoot and selected the concept 'INTENSE'. Mood teasers, concept films and preview images will drop," a fan said and wrote that the project will be released on Sept. 1.

"I can't believe we're getting pics edited by Jungkook himself!!! Like a compilation of it! I'm so excited to see what he is going to show us," another Jungkook supporter said.

Another fan commented, "This new photo shoot project of Jungkook's sounds so fantastic. I'm honestly as excited about this as I am about his future music. He is so creative and talented behind a camera!! The gifts he has! Our golden maknae. Our renaissance man."

BTS announced on its Instagram page Thursday that it will soon release a photo book, with each of its members participating in the project as editors and designers. Jungkook will be the first member, who will release his "Photo Folio" with the theme "Powerful."

The septet's official Instagram page released a new teaser Friday, showing a portion of Jungkook's hand and captioned it, "Mood 'Day' Teaser. Me, Myself, and Jung Kook. Special 8 Photo-Folio."

Meanwhile, the "Yet To Come" crooner is turning 25 on Sept. 1 and will be getting a seven-day billboard ad in New York Times Square after receiving the highest vote record on the voting app FanPlus. Jungkook has received over 3.8 billion votes and has beaten other K-pop idols who are also celebrating their birthdays in September, including EXO's Chen and Stray Kids' Han.
