South Korean group BTS has now set its eyes on the Grammys after ticking off their earlier goal to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart with their English single “Dynamite.”

The K-pop band, whose members are RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, is aiming for a solo performance on the Grammys stage and possibly a nomination as well, Variety reported.

“We went to the Grammys at the beginning of the year and did a collaborative performance,” BTS member Suga said at an online press conference on Tuesday, Sept. 1. “Now I would like to do a single performance with just BTS on the Grammy awards stage.”

“It would be great to receive an award, but that’s not going to become a reality just because we want it. For now, just getting to perform on the Grammy award stage is our goal,” he continued.

In January, BTS made its Grammy Awards performance debut by appearing in a special collaboration stage with Lil Nas X for a rendition of "Old Town Road,” providing vocals and dancing with the rapper. The squad also made history last year by becoming the first K-pop group to present at the Grammys.

Speaking about their Grammys goal, BTS member RM said it’s the dream of every singer to perform at the awards show.

“Of course we’d like to perform there. It would be great to receive the award — that is the direction we should be headed for,” he shared.

As for the band's highly successful English single “Dynamite,” RM said the song may have appealed to a wider international audience because it is “more familiar because of the language and other elements” familiar to Americans.

BTS has now performed in four major American music award shows — Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and the Grammys — becoming the first South Korean group to do so.

The group is scheduled to appear on NBC’s “Today” show on Sept. 10, “America’s Got Talent” on Sept. 16 and the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Sept. 18.

A choreography video for “Dynamite” is set to be released on Sept. 26.
