Camilla Parker Bowles will have to endure months of disruptions as her neighbor started a massive overhaul on his Grade II listed property.

According to Carly Read, a journalist for Express, the Duchess of Cornwall opposed the plans. In her letter of objection, she stated that the renovation could have a "negative affect on the flow of water from the river during any periods of flooding" and that the project "should, therefore, be subject to a detailed survey by the Environment Agency."

"I am concerned about the proposed garage. The design is not conducive to a normal garage," she added.

However, when Phil Clayton submitted the project to Wiltshire Council in April, it was approved. Clayton reportedly plans to build an outbuilding for his elderly mom. He also wanted to renovate the interior and exterior of his house.

Camilla's plush Wiltshire estate is said to be a welcoming retreat for her and Prince Charles. It's where the couple enjoy their breaks when his Highgrove House estate was opened to the public.

"At Ray Mill she can sit down with a big G&T, kick of her shoes and watch Coronation Street, which Charles loathes," an insider told Daily Mail what Camilla does whenever she's there. "She also doesn't have to bother about how the place looks – Charles is so fussy about tidiness, while she leaves her stuff all over the place. She doesn't need her cushions plumped all the time."

In related news, Prince Charles was last seen in public with Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Anne on Sunday. The trio attended mass together and went on to watch Highland Games. Camilla was noticeably missing on the said outing and it remains unknown where the Duchess of Cornwall was at that time.

Meanwhile, there are reports claiming that Prince William and Prince Harry have a long-standing feud with their father. The dukes and the second-in-line to the throne's rift somehow involved Camilla.

"In public, they are all smiles, but behind the scenes, they do not like Camilla and see little of each other," Bower said. "This is partly because of what happened to their mother Diana, but also because Charles spent so little time with them when they were younger."

Prince Harry has already addressed the issue about him, Prince William and Camilla. According to the Duke of Sussex, Camilla is not a wicked stepmom and he urges the public to "Look at the position she's coming into. Don't feel sorry for me and William, feel sorry for her."
