Cardi B released her debut album, “Invasion of Privacy,” in April, gave birth to her first child, daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, in July, and now she’s gearing up to premiere a new sketch comedy series. She’s been working on the project with “Wild ’n Out” star Rip Micheals, and he gave International Business Times all the scoop about it on the MTV VMAs red carpet on Monday.

“We just finished that,” he told IBT, before giving a “big shoutout to Cardi B, big shoutout to Tristan Mack Wilds and DJ Envy.” Micheals explained that a lot of people made this series, which Page Six revealed is titled “Off the Rip,” possible, and it all adds up to a no-holds-barred show.

In it, fans will see a whole new side to Cardi B. The “I Like It” rapper will show off her comedic chops with some unique sketches, including one called “Ho Etiquette.” She’ll also play a wife in a “Real Housewives of the Civil Rights Movement” sketch.

“A lot of people don’t realize how funny and amazing Cardi is and the things that she does,” Micheals said. “We tackle the Nicki Minaj thing, we tackle the 50 Cent beef in it… It’s absolutely crazy. When you see it, you’re gonna be like, ‘Whoa, I didn’t know Cardi got down like this.’”

While Micheals “can’t say just yet” where and when fans will be able to check out his new show with Cardi B, he did leave fans with the perfect way to envision what the show will be like.

“It’s like ‘Wild ’n Out’ on steroids,” Micheals said. “It’s crazy.”

He’s been on MTV’s “Wild ’n Out” since 2014 and is currently touring with the Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ’N Out Live show, so he knows exactly what he’s talking about when making those kinds of comparisons. He actually helped start the tour, getting together and partnering with Nick Cannon to create it. “We’re in the same arenas as Drake, right behind Drake, right behind all the craziness that’s going on, and we’re doing really well,” Micheals said of this year’s tour.

“It’s no holds barred because it’s for all ages, and we can finally do things that you never see on TV,” he said. “And it’s completely unscripted.”

If you’re looking for a way to hold yourself over until Cardi B and Micheals’ new show drops, the “Wild ’n Out” tour will be making stops all over the country for the next couple of months.
