Cardi B and Offset’s family just got a little bigger following the birth of their baby girl. The couple announced the arrival of their daughter on Wednesday, one day after the “Invasion of Privacy” artist delivered her first child.

Offset and Cardi B, who were secretly married last year, first confirmed the “Bodak Yellow” rapper’s pregnancy in April, after months of speculation. While the rappers attempted to keep the pregnancy and their marriage under wraps, they were more than happy to share their newborn’s unique baby name.

The couple named their baby girl Kulture Kiari Cephus. While the baby name may seem like just another wild celebrity moniker, the choice appears to have sentimental value to the couple. Offset was born Kiari Kendrell Cephus.

The newborn’s name, Kulture, appears to be a tribute to the rapper’s albums “Culture” and “Culture II” with his group Migos. Meanwhile, her middle name, Kiari pays homage to her father’s given name.

During a May appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Cardi B revealed that Offset came up with their baby’s name on his own. “My dude named the baby. I really like the name,”  she told the host.

Cardi B initially denied pregnancy rumors until it became difficult to hide her baby bump. After the rapper confirmed her pregnancy during a performance on “Saturday Night Live,” she revealed she received negative feedback about her choice to welcome motherhood.

While speaking to The Breakfast Club in April, she shared her reaction to the comments she received after the announcement. “It just really bothers me and it disgusts me because I see a lot of women online like, ‘Oh I feel sorry for you, oh your career is over,’” she said.

“As a woman, why can’t I have both? Why do I gotta choose a career or a baby? Like, why can’t I have both? I want both.”

While Kulture Kiari Cephus is the first child for Cardi B, the baby girl’s arrival now makes Offset a father of four children. The rapper also has two sons, Jordan and Kody, and a daughter, Kalea.
