The most-hated mom in America, Casey Anthony, is reportedly in the works for a movie about her life, the murder of her daughter Caylee, and the trial that surrounded it. The movie, “As I Was Told,” will depict Anthony as a mother that did what she was told, the Daily Mail reported.

Set to shoot in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, the film comes just eight years after Anthony, 33, was acquitted for the murder of her two-year-old daughter, the news outlet said. As has been previously reported, Anthony waited 31 days to report her daughter was missing, which she told the Daily Mail was “because I’d done what I was told to do. I had to put on a fake persona throughout those 31 days.”

The idea for the movie is not to make money, but rather a chance for Anthony to tell her story. She told the Daily Mail that she feels “my truth needs to be out of me. I need to close the book.”

Anthony also went on to tell the news outlet, “I could care less what people think of me. I just feel my truth needs to be out of me. I need to close the book. As long as I get my side out so I can rest. I have spent years hearing other sides of what they believe to be true.”

The movie will not feature any named stars nor a recognized filmmaker but a group that admits they have never made a movie before, according to the news outlet.

“It will make it clear that I had no part in Caylee's death as far as how she died,” Anthony told the Daily Mail. “Hopefully one day people will find it in their hearts to believe that I could never do this. Regardless of what the media has depicted of me, I am not a monster. I just don't show my sadness. A thing that was taught to me as a young girl.

“I suffer on the inside. I learn to make peace and put on a smile to cover the sadness,” she added.

The movie about Anthony will reportedly include a series of flashbacks about her life as well as sex scenes, showing her with different men – a part of the case that never revealed who the father of Caylee was.

Caylee’s body was found in a trash bag by a meter man in December 2008 in a wooded area behind the Orlando home of Anthony’s parents George and Cindy. Anthony was accused of killing the young girl and neglecting her so that she wouldn’t have to deal with being a parent.

Anthony accused her father George of sexually abusing Caylee. Today, Anthony claims that she had no part in her daughter’s death and that Caylee drowned by accident. Anthony was acquitted of all murder charges in the case. She did serve time for lying to police.
