Blonde bombshell and teen bride Courtney Stodden has entered the U.K. “Celebrity Big Brother” house! The 18-year-old officially joined the cast on Thursday, Aug. 22 … but what about her 53-year-old husband, Doug Hutchison?

Stodden is braving “Big Brother” alone. Posting on Twitter on Aug. 17 that she was on the plane and “ready for takeoff,” the teen and her hubby won’t pull a Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag. According to the Daily Mail, it's because the show's producers didn’t want Hutchison in the house.

“The producers only want Courtney on the show and vetoed Doug coming in with her,” a show insider explained. “She’s young, hot and wild -- plus they have a pool and hot tub to fill … This is an opportunity for her to get up in front of the world and stand on her own two perplex stilettos!”

Stodden may be on her own, but the teen’s momager, Krista Keller, dished to E! Online that Hutchison is being “very supportive.”

“He really misses Courtney, she’s been pulled away from him,” Keller said about her daughter’s husband. “He loves being with her. They’ve never been apart.”

And even though they’ll be separated, Stodden is still excited about the opportunity.

"I'm looking forward to sharing my Big Brother experience with all my fans as soon as I'm set free," Stodden told E! Online.

This isn’t the first time that Stodden appeared on reality TV. In 2012 Stodden and Hutchison were featured on VH1’s “Couple’s Therapy.” The couple married in 2011 when Hutchison, an actor known for his role in “Lost,” was 51 years old and Stodden was 16. They enrolled in “Couples Therapy” the following year to resolve issues in their marriage that stemmed from their age difference. Stodden and Hutchison were criticized on the show because of their age difference, as well as Stodden’s attire and provocative videos.

Stodden turns 19 on Aug. 29. She’s currently on her second day in the “Celebrity Big Brother” house with the following contestants:
