Celine Dion’s star continues to shine brightly in the music industry, but her looks have been a constant subject of scrutiny through the years. This weekend, a photo of the singer from decades ago has once again brought up the debate on whether or not she’s done plastic surgeries to enhance her appearance.

On Sunday, TMZ circulated a photo it found of the “My Heart Will Go On” songstress from when she was just 19 years old. Dion turned 51 on Saturday, so the tabloid news website might have found it appropriate to look back at the world-famous diva’s appearance from 32 years ago. The outlet even provided a recent snap of Dion for side-by-side comparison.

Many claimed that based on the photos, the Grammy-winning recording artist may have done some cosmetic procedures to enhance her beauty. Most of them credited good doctors for Dion’s upgraded face, with some saying it’s obvious that the singer had a nose job.

However, some of Dion’s fans took to Twitter to defend her from plastic surgery claimers. They pointed out the things that contributed to the “It’s All Coming Back To Me” hitmaker’s changed looks and how Dion herself is afraid of going under the knife.

“Here’s a thought…great make-up, different hair color…the beauty of a mature woman who knows how to play up her assets,” one fan wrote.

“Well she’s always been adamant about not going under the knife for fear of messing with her instrument. So certainly not the latter,” another opined.

Meanwhile, late-night television talk show host James Corden revealed last week that Celine is set to be his next guest for the famous Carpool Karaoke segment of his show. They already filmed their musical ride on Friday and it is scheduled to air on the May 20 episode of “The Late Late Show.”

The legendary singer joins a long list of artists who rode Corden’s Range Rover for a relaxing drive with their hit and favorite tunes playing. Mariah Carey, Adele, Ariana Grande, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson are among the female singers who made an appearance on the famous segment.
