One of the fiercest rivalries in the NFL figures to be a dud this season, at least according to oddsmakers. The Kansas City Chiefs (9-2) still have two games to play against the Oakland Raiders (2-9) in the final five weeks of the season, including a matchup in Oakland on Sunday.

The Chiefs are as high as 15-point road favorites over the Raiders with an over/under of 55.5, per OddsShark. That just barely edges out the game between the Arizona Cardinals (2-9) and Green Bay Packers (4-6-1) for the biggest point spread of the week. Arizona is a 14.5-point road underdog.

Statistics and history both point to a relatively easy Chiefs win on Sunday. The Chiefs have one of the best offenses in football, and can rush the passer on defense. The Raiders do not do anything particularly well on offense or defense, and are especially bad at protecting quarterback Derek Carr.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid is 8-2 against the Raiders since taking the job in 2013. Both of those losses were Thursday night games in Oakland, including last year’s last-second Raiders victory. Since the Chiefs are coming off a bye week and cannot afford to slip up in their quest for a third straight division title, they should theoretically be more prepared for this one.

Andy Reid is 16-3 coming off a bye week in his career as a head coach. The Chiefs could also have All-Pro safety Eric Berry back in the lineup. The Raiders could have extra motivation from playing at home and potentially spoiling their arch-rivals’ postseason seeding.
