Chris Rock has addressed his altercation with Will Smith at the recent Oscars, suggesting there was no truth in reports that claimed they had made amends.

During one of his standup shows in Boston on Wednesday, the comedian told his audience he had not talked to anyone since the incident.

“I haven’t talked to anyone, despite what you have heard,” the comedian said, People reported.

While he did not mention Smith by name, his statement suggested they were yet to patch things up.

Reports about Rock and Smith making amends surfaced Tuesday, after Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly claimed the two had already reconciled.

“That’s not a problem,” Combs reportedly told Page Six. “That’s over. I can confirm that.”

Without elaborating on the details of their alleged reconciliation, Page Six quoted Combs as saying, “It’s all love. They’re brothers.”

Meanwhile, Rock also said during his show he didn’t really want to “talk about the sh**,” adding the real disappointment of the week for him was his daughter failing to get into the University of Southern California, Deadline reported.

The comedian also reportedly refused to make any reference to the Oscars or Smith during the show. The only time he made any direct reference to last weekend’s incident was when he said he was “still processing what happened,” telling his audience he would address the issue at some point in the future in a serious manner, People reported.

The debacle between Smith and Rock happened Sunday night when Smith hit Rock onstage after the comedian made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith. Smith then took to Instagram on Monday to apologize for his behavior, saying it was “unacceptable and inexcusable.”

“I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris,” he wrote. “I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.”

“Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally,” he continued.
