Chrissy Teigen underwent major surgery and, this time around, it's not to add something but to remove her prized breast implants. The famous model said that she's just over them.

Going Under the Knife

On Thursday (June 11), the model announced that she underwent a breast implant removal surgery. In an Instagram post, the wife of John Legend shared that the notes her lovely 4-year-old daughter, Luna, penned for her made the soreness go away.

The hilarious letter comprised two parts. In front were the words, "BYE BOOBIES," written in bold letters. Luna even added a mermaid sticker to give it a brighter mood. At the back was a funny message, which read: "Have fun punching your boobies out. Love Luna."

The lovely supermodel described the whole procedure on Instagram. "Surgery went perfectly," she wrote on the caption. She admitted though that she felt so sore, but finding Luna's notes upon waking up "made it go away for half a minute at least."

The Big Announcement

It was in May that the "Cravings" cookbook author announced that she'd be going under the knife to have her implants removed. According to the 34-year-old model, there are so many nosey people, so she will just say it out loud that she would be getting her boobs out.

"They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it," affirmed Teigen. She, then, explained that she wanted to dress up in clothes her size and lay on her belly comfortably.

On an added note, she proudly stated that she still has her boobs, but they would be just pure fat. She even referred to breasts as a "dumb, miraculous bag of fat."

Message to Followers

For fans who became anxious that Teigen went under the knife, she gave one short message to allay their fears. "Don't worry about me," said the strong and feisty supermodel who has more than 30 million followers on Instagram.
