Christmas may be a holiday that is devoted to fun, family and festivities of all kinds, but a little work may be in store as well. At least, that might be the case in the newest Lifetime movie, “Christmas 9 to 5,” starring Tiya Sircar and Joe Dinicol.

Sircar, best known as Vicky on “The Good Place” and Sabine Wren in “Rebels Recon,” “Star Wars Rebel” and “Star Wars: Forces of Destiny,” has previously worked with Lifetime before, starring in 2018’s “Christmas Lost and Found,” but this will be Dinicol’s first time working with the network and on a Christmas film at all. The “Arrow” and “Blindspot” actor will be making his grand debut in this movie.

So what can fans expect in this holiday workplace adventure? What else, but holiday spirit, Christmas joy and true love?

“Jennifer (Sircar) is a tough crime beat reporter who gets the assignment of her life: to find the true meaning of Christmas,” a synopsis for the film reads.

In order to accomplish this monumental task, Jennifer does the only thing she can think of, by going undercover at local legendary store Desmond’s. What she doesn’t expect, however, is for her assignment to have some unintended other effects.

“When she goes undercover in a department store as a 9 to 5 sales clerk from Black Friday to Christmas Eve, she finds her true calling and meets the man of her dreams,” the synopsis states. “It’s a Christmas she will never forget.”

George Wendt (“A Christmas Wedding Date,” “Merry In-Laws,” “Cheers”) also stars, and the film is produced by MarVista Entertainment. Larry Grimaldi and Danielle von Zerneck serve as executive producers.

“Christmas 9 to 5” airs Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
