Alison Sweeney’s Alex and Benjamin Ayres’ Drew are back to solve another case when “Chronicle Mysteries: Vines That Bind” premieres on Sunday on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. The third installment in the franchise finds Alex and her team heading to Pennsylvania wine country.

“The latest edition of Alex McPherson’s true crime podcast leads her and most of the Chronicle staff to nearby Macklin, where they investigate the death of a vintner that was ruled an accident by the local police,” the synopsis reveals. “Before Alex can get to the bottom of what she feels was a murder, another member of the family is felled by a bullet. She and her colleagues soon amass a formidable roster of suspects, of whom had the motive and opportunity to commit the crimes.”

Dave Collette (Chuck Matthews), Olivia Steele Falconer (Kendall), Rebecca Staab (Eileen), Michael Kopsa (Miles Lawrence), Rochelle Greenwood (Mary), Pippa Mackie (Caitlin) and Malcolm Stewart (Victor) are also in the “Chronicle Mysteries: Vines That Bind” cast.

The Hallmark movie was directed by David Weaver and written by Kraig Wenman and Melissa Salmons.

“Chronicle Mysteries: Vines That Bind” debuts on Sunday on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on Sunday at 9 p.m. EST.
