  • Courteney Cox sings "Hold me close, young Tony Danza"
  • Ed Sheeran and Brandi Carlile played acoustic guitar
  • Cox will be next seen in "Scream," which will release in 2022

Courteney Cox once again teamed up with Ed Sheeran and this time, Elton John and Brandi Carlile joined them to pay a tribute to Lisa Kudrow. The 56-year-old actress took to Instagram Sunday to share a fun video of singing "Tiny Dancer" with the group.

Kudrow’s character Phoebe in the popular sitcom, "Friends" claimed, "the one Elton John wrote for that guy in Who’s The Boss" is the most romantic song ever. The scene appeared in the third season’s first episode titled, "The One With The Princess Leia Fantasy."

In the episode, the scene took place between characters Phoebe, Ross, and Rachel where Phoebe sang, "Hold me close, young Tony Danza" lyrics. In the video shared on Instagram, instead of singing the original lyrics "Tiny Dancer," the group changed the lyrics and sang Phoebe's line, "Tony Danza."

"One of the greatest moments of my life," Cox captioned the video. "This one’s for you @lisakudrow. #phoebe #tonydanza #tinydancer."

The video began from Sheeran's close-up as he said, "Lisa Kudrow, this is for you." While Cox played the piano, Sheeran and Carlile played acoustic guitar. At the end of the video, Sheeran once again looked into the camera and said, "Whatever, whatever! Tony Danza, we did it! We did it!"

Kudrow took to the comment section and responded, "Whaaaaaat??? That’s the most exciting thing ever!!!!" Although commenting wasn't enough for Kudrow as she posted a video reacting to Cox’s video on Instagram Sunday.

"OK, Ed Sheeran, Courteney Cox, Brandi Carlile, and Elton John, that was the most thrilling thing ever. It was so good," she said. "Technically it's 'Hold me close, Young Tony Danza,' but what you did was great too. And, including the original song that you wrote, Sir Elton, that was really good too."

This is not the first time Sheeran and Cox collaborated together. Last month, they performed a sweet dance routine from "Friends" in a video.

The dance routine was originally performed in an episode titled "The One with the Routine" by Cox and her co-star David Schwimmer, who portrayed Monica and Ross, respectively, in the sitcom.

While Sheeran is currently on a career break, Cox will be next seen in "Scream," which is slated to release on Jan. 14, 2022.
