A young teammate of Cristiano Ronaldo wants to switch teams and join Lionel Messi in Barcelona.

Very few can argue about the leadership skills of Ronaldo and Messi. Both soccer superstars are famous not only because of their skills but also because of their influence in the sport. However, a new teammate of Ronaldo in Juventus, Adrien Rabiot, is reportedly growing frustrated in the team.

According to Fox Sports, Rabiot is not satisfied with the amount of playing time he is getting at the club. Reports also claim that his mother is already in talks with Barcelona, the club led by Ronaldo’s rival Messi, for a possible move in January.

Rabiot joined the Serie A champions on a free from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window but has failed to break into manager Maurizio Sarri’s plans. Since joining the club, Rabiot has only made three league appearances and only one in the UEFA Champions League.

It was emphasized that the 24-year-old midfielder isn’t happy with the exposure he’s getting at Juventus and if reports from Calciomercato happen to be true, Rabiot could be on his way to Barcelona.

Rabiot isn ’ t a bad pick after all. In fact, sources claim that Real Madrid are looking to get Rabiot on board as well. Los Blancos are also reportedly monitoring the midfielder’s situation at Juventus and if he does decide to leave the Serie A giants, the club might pursue him as an alternative for Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, the soccer star who has been their number one target for quite some time now.

Meanwhile, Messi has just proven that he knows how to play the role of a leader especially to his younger teammates in Barca.

Apparently, Messi tried everything he could to save his teammate Ousmane Dembele from being sent off against Sevilla on Sunday. Dembele got himself on the scoresheet, but the French winger’s evening ended on a sour note when he received a red card minutes before full-time.

Dembele got too emotional and had said, "very bad, you're very bad," to referee Miguel Antonio Mateu Lahoz. He was subsequently shown another yellow card after having picked up his first of the evening early in the second half.

But Messi suddenly arrived on the scene accompanied by his Barcelona teammates to explain that it was just a misunderstanding. Messi, tried to defend Dembele, who has been living in Spain for over two years now, by claiming the Frenchman can’t speak the language.
