New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is under fire after another former aide has come forward accusing him of sexual harassment, just months after his first allegation.

Charlotte Bennett left her position as an executive assistant and health policy advisor in November. The incidents she is alleging happened sometime in the spring of 2020.

His first alleged victim, Lindsay Boylan, took to Twitter in December to out Cuomo after claiming years of a toxic work environment and inappropriate behavior that was geared towards her.

Bennett explained that the governor asked many questions about her sex life, if she’s ever had any sexual experiences with older men, and the factor of age in relationships. She said Cuomo told her he’s not opposed to having a relationship with a woman in her 20s, according to the New York Times. Bennett is 25.

“I understood that the governor wanted to sleep with me, and felt horribly uncomfortable and scared,” Ms. Bennett said. “And was wondering how I was going to get out of it and assumed it was the end of my job,” she told the Times.

The 63-year-old has told residents of New York not to conclude any judgment until the investigation has finished and the findings have been released. He also never denied the fact that he talked to Bennett about personal information, but he had no further comment or information to add at this time.

Cuomo explained Saturday that he “never made advances toward Ms. Bennett, nor did I ever intend to act in any way that was inappropriate.” He also added that he knew Bennet’s background about being sexually assaulted, being active in women’s issues and helping those that had similar experiences.

As for Boylan’s accusations, he and his office denied all allegations. She claimed the governor went "out of his way" to touch her "lower back, arms and legs," and kissied her during a one-on-one meeting. She accused Cuomo of asking her if she wanted to play strip poker.

The latest accusation adds to the negativity surrounding Cuomo since being accused of mishandling nursing home COVID-19 death data and “threatening political retribution against Democrats who have criticized him in an aggressive effort to contain political fallout from the revelations,” according to CNN.
