Cyclone Yasi is headed towards Queensland, Australia and authorities have already issue warnings for this strong tropical storm.

In some areas of Queensland, Cyclone Yasi will become VERY DESTRUCTIVE with gusts above 200 km/hr, according to Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Moreover, there will be STRONG CURRENTS and FLOODING of low lying areas in coastal parts.

The Australian government recommended people between Cape Melville to Sarina to immediately commence or continue preparations, especially securing boats and property.

Cyclone Yasi is larger and more power than Tropical Storm Anthony, which hit Queensland the past weekend.

Yasi is still in the Coral Sea and headed west towards Australia. It's expected to hit the costal islands Wednesday morning (local time), extend to the coast during the day, and then further inland during the night.
