David Beckham dressed up as legendary singer Freddie Mercury and posed with his friends during a night out in Dubai. The retired soccer player took to Instagram and shared the picture with his 12.5 million followers.

“This is what happens when 3 queens get on the global express and think they are king Freddie #beenawaytoolong .. Long trip London, Nyc , Miami , Nyc , London, Dubai, London ... Can’t wait to get home to see my beautiful wife and unbelievable children....” he captioned the picture.

The soccer player was playing dress up with his friends that included his best friend David Gardner. The picture shows Beckham donning fake moustaches, white vest and slicked back hair. He also shows off his tattoos in the image.

The former England soccer captain is on a whirlwind trip across oceans, making stopovers in New York, Miami and Dubai. He was in Dubai for the launch of the Adidas store.

He was in New York, where he met Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai for the second time at the Global Citizen Festival. It is the same place where Beyoncé and Michelle Obama were attendees. The father of four also made a stopover in London amid his tight schedule and attended the Pride of Britain Awards.

He presented an award to Sohanna Collins who suffers from a rare genetic skin disease. The 13-year-old is more prone to breaking out in blisters and third-degree burns. She has helped raise 3.5 million pounds to help other children like her, and was presented with the Teenager of Courage Award for her efforts.

The 40-year-old said that he could not wait to get home to see his “beautiful wife and unbelievable children.” He also paid a touching tribute to his wife, Victoria Beckham for her “powerful speech” that she delivered at this year’s Social Good Summit in New York City Sunday.

The 41-year-old fashion designer was joined by the likes of Queen Rania of Jordan and Mozambican politician and humanitarian Graca Machel to explore how technology is being used for social good around the world. Victoria on her part also attended the Fashion 4 Development event held in New York Monday.
