She is desperate to keep her own dirty secret and has hinged it on whether or not Jennifer spills the beans to Eric about why Nicole really left town last year. Now, knowing her enemy plans to reveal all, Eve will make one last-ditch effort to convince her to keep the lies going on the Friday, Sept. 21 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

When Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) threatened to expose Eve’s (Kassie DePaiva) role in having Brady (Eric Martsolf) lose custody of Tate, Eve took action to ensure the other woman’s silence. Knowing that she was with Eric (Greg Vaughan), she taunted her longtime enemy on the NBC soap, revealing that Nicole (Arianne Zucker) could easily become a part of his life again, effectively ending their own romance. She told Jennifer that Brady had forced Nicole out of town (and, by default, Eric’s life), by threatening to expose that she murdered Deimos (Vincent Irizarry). Since then, Jennifer has struggled with whether or not she should tell Eric the truth, especially since he proposed to her.

Now, Jennifer is convinced he needs to know everything, but telling him would blow up the recently thawed relationship between the brothers. Still, Jennifer knows she needs to do what’s right. However, Eve is desperate to keep her own secrets from being exposed, so she will make one last effort to convince Jennifer that not telling Eric or Brady the truth is the right call.

Still, even if Eve makes a convincing argument, Jennifer won’t feel comfortable keeping the secret and will decide the best thing to do is to tell Eric. Even though she knows it will likely mean the end of her own engagement, she has decided that she needs to be honest. Naturally, if she does tell him, he will become furious—potentially at her and Eve, but especially at his brother.

Then, since Brady will have to figure out how Eric knew what he did, Eve will be forced to make confessions of her own. As a result, several relationships in Salem are set to be blown up—and there will be no way to repair the damage once that happens.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
