Day of Our Lives

He was stunned when Bonnie Lockhart claimed he was the father of her baby and immediately demanded a paternity test to prove that wasn’t the case. Now, the results are in, and Lucas is about to learn if the known con woman was telling him the truth or playing games with him on the Thursday, Sept. 20 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) went to see Bonnie (Judi Evans) after learning she wanted to apologize for when she impersonated Adrienne (also Evans) and destroyed his life on the NBC soap. However, when he went, she dropped a bombshell on him by revealing that the night he thought he had slept with Angelica Devereaux before her death, he had actually slept with her—and that union resulted in a baby. Lucas was having a hard time believing the story until the baby, also named Bonnie, was brought in, and he felt a connection. He still demanded a paternity test and has since been awaiting the results.

Now, he will learn what has come back from the lab, and he will be stunned when the test comes back and determines what he never expected—that he is, in fact, Baby Bonnie’s father, and he conceived her with Bonnie herself.

With this revelation, it will be up to Lucas to decide what this means for his future. While Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) has vowed to stick by him no matter what, having a child with a woman who is supposed to be heading back to Statesville Prison complicates things. Not only does Lucas have to decide if he will fight for custody of the baby, but he has to decide if he will fight to keep Bonnie out of prison entirely.

In addition, he will need to adjust to life as a dad of a baby in general—something he hasn’t had to do for a long time. However, if Bonnie did still find a way to pull the con of a lifetime, this whole situation could have an even worse affect—by driving Lucas over the edge and off the wagon once again.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
