She managed to find Jordan’s real killer and get him to the prison in a last-ditch effort to save Ben’s life and keep him from being killed for the crime. However, Ciara could learn her efforts may have come too late on the Wednesday, March 4 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was desperate to prove Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) innocence as his execution date drew nearer on the NBC soap. After learning that David’s father was the one who killed Jordan (Chrishell Stause) and figuring out that Evan (Brock Kelly) was that man, she quickly went to get him and turn him in. She was forced to get creative and storm him into the prison with a gun to his head as Ben was administered the lethal drugs. But while she came in time for them to have only administered the ones that made him calm and paralyzed but not the one that stops his heart, it may still have been too late to keep him safe.

“Ben flatlines,” spoilers reveal.

Now, with the proof on hand that he is innocent, the race will be on to keep him alive so he doesn’t actually die an innocent man.

Meanwhile, the other element of the plot to take Evan down has involved trying to find David, who he kidnapped from Rafe’s (Galen Gering) when it became clear he had lied about his identity and been fired. Now, Rafe will be desperate to find the baby he was hoping to make his son and will beg for any info he can get on the baby’s whereabouts.

“Rafe makes an appeal to Evan to find David,” spoilers state.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
