There has been a brief glimmer of hope that she would survive the damage of her two heart attacks by getting Kate’s heart, but after the other woman woke up, that hope was dashed and her fate was sealed. Now, as Julie prepares to die she will start to relay her final wishes on the Wednesday, Oct. 2 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

After suffering two different heart attacks, one in the park and another when she heard Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) was missing, Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) condition became even bleaker on the NBC soap. Since she isn’t a candidate for a heart transplant because of her age, there was little hope she would survive, but things seemed to turn around after it seemed Kate (Lauren Koslow) wasn’t going to survive Vivian’s (Robin Strasser) attempts on her life, and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) agreed to give his mother’s heart to Julie. However, things took another turn for Julie and her loved ones when Kate unexpectedly woke up—and she is once again in a situation where she is set to die.

Now, once again resigned to her fate, Julie will reveal her wishes to her husband, Doug (Bill Hayes) as they prepare to say goodbye to one another for good.

“Julie makes a dying request to Doug,” spoilers state.

Most likely, one of the requests she will make will mirror the one she made of Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), where she asked her friend to end her marriage to Victor (John Aniston) and look after Doug instead. Like Maggie, Doug will likely refuse to do it, because while he knows her intentions are good, nothing will be the same for him without her.

Meanwhile, as her family prepares for the tragedy of losing her, they could also be faced with another situation, as her granddaughter, Ciara (Victoria Konefal), once again winds up in a situation that seems perilous.

“Ciara’s life is threatened,” spoilers state.

Naturally, a threat to Ciara’s life will be something scary, and most likely, it will be tied to the fact that she is still with Ben (Robert Scott Wilson)--and it won’t take long for her to finger Jordan (Chrishell Stause Hartley) as the person she thinks s behind the new threat to her safety.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
