He is often considered the prime suspect when it comes to something happening with Ciara, and now, Ben will be forced to defend himself as he once again takes the heat over his former girlfriend’s disappearance on the Tuesday, Feb. 5 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Though he has since been proven innocent when it comes to the fire that nearly killed Ciara (Victoria Konefal) months ago on the NBC soap, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) is still not trusted by anyone in Salem—especially Ciara’s mother, Hope (Kristian Alfonso), who wants the former serial killer as far away from her daughter as possible. The couple’s breakup and Ciara’s decision to visit Theo in South Africa seemed to be the perfect solution—until it became clear that Ciara returned home from the other country, but hadn’t yet arrived in Salem.

Now, Hope is convinced her daughter is in danger, and as usual, she immediately suspects that Ben is behind the disappearance. Now, after going to his hotel room to snoop, she will make a big accusation against him.

“Hope accuses Ben of abducting Ciara,” spoilers reveal.

Naturally, Ben will deny any involvement in her going missing and will insist that he too is looking for her, but Hope isn’t going to buy it. Following the news that he has skipped some doses of his medicine as well, she is truly convinced that he did something to her daughter and that this time, she can make him pay.

Of course, while Ben also didn’t have sinister intentions the last time he took Ciara either, he is genuinely not behind her abduction this time. In fact, Ciara has finally seen her captor—though she will be stunned when she realizes that someone she thought might be there to save her is actually the person who is holding her captive.

“Ciara begs Jordan (Chrishell Stause Hartley) to help her escape,” spoilers tease.

However, since Jordan is the one who actually is holding her hostage, Ciara isn’t going to have much luck—especially since Ben’s sister’s motive for the kidnapping remains unclear.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
