Demi Lovato is one proud girlfriend!

The “Cool for the Summer” singer took to Twitter to congratulate her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama on his new gig. On Tuesday, it was revealed that the “That ‘70s Show” alum had been cast in a reoccurring role for Season 12 of “Grey’s Anatomy.”

“How exciting is it that my love is going to be on @greysanatomy??!!” Lovato tweeted. “I couldn’t be more proud… congrats my @WValderrama.”

Valderrama, who is currently starring on the El Rey drama “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series,” will portray a newcomer named Kyle Diaz. However, that’s all the information being unveiled about the actor’s secretive role in the hit ABC medical drama. Valderrama’s multi-episode arc will begin in April and you can bet that Lovato, a self-proclaimed “Grey’s Anatomy” fan, will be tuning in to watch her beau take on Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

Not only is Lovato a fan of the series, she also guest starred on the Shonda Rhimes created show during the series’ sixth season. The songstress played the character Hayley May, a psych patient who was incorrectly diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. Lovato gushed about taking on the dark role during an interview with “Entertainment Tonight” in 2010.

“I’ve been obsessed with this show for a good period of time now,” Lovato, who is no stranger to starring on small screen series, said. “This is kind of like my dream role on my dream TV show.”

“Grey’s Anatomy” airs Thursday at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
