The popular RPG shooter “Destiny 2” has been out for a little more than a year, but developer Bungie has plans for at least another full year of new content for the game. Bungie revealed in a blog post this week that it will outline, and then release, the first expansion pack for the second year of “Destiny 2” in the coming weeks.

The expansion, titled “Black Armory,” will launch on Dec. 4. Bungie will publish a video detailing what players will get in “Black Armory” a week ahead of time, on Nov. 27. “Black Armory” is the first of three expansions that will roll out over the next year as part of the game’s “Annual Pass.”

Players who purchased the $34.99 annual pass will get those expansions automatically. Getting into “Destiny 2” at this stage can be a daunting financial decision, but the good news is Black Friday is coming up. Several major retailers will have the version of “Destiny 2” that comes with all of its existing expansion content at a heavy discount, per GameSpot.

Bungie has not said much about what “Black Armory” will entail, but “Destiny 2” players hungry for more to do should expect more quests to complete and more weapons to find. The other two expansions, titled “Joker’s Wild” and “Penumbra,” will launch in 2019.
