The Powerball drawing on Saturday night did not yield a grand prize winner for the estimated $131 million jackpot. The next drawing, which will take place on Wednesday, will see the jackpot grow to $142 million with a $97.9 million cash value.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Saturday, May 1 were 35, 36, 47, 61, 63, with a red Powerball of 3. The Power Play was 3X.

Although there were no instant millionaires following the latest drawing, some players were able to win smaller monetary prizes.

There were five Match 4 plus red Powerball winners with a Power Play, winning $150,000 each. The rest of the prizes from the night ranged between $4 to $300.

Players who are lucky enough to win a Powerball jackpot have the option of receiving an annuity or a lump-sum payment. Those who select the annuity receive 30 payments over the course of 29 years. Each year those annual payments increase by 5% until the final payment is made.

Powerball drawings take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The lottery can be played in 45 states, including Puerto Rico, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
