The Powerball drawing on Saturday night did not result in any grand prize winners for the estimated $157 million jackpot with a cash value of $108.2 million.

The next lottery drawing will take place on Wednesday. The Powerball jackpot will grow to an estimated $168 with a $117 million cash value.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Saturday, May 8 were 12, 17, 20, 21, and 26 with a red Powerball of 8. The Power Play was 3X.

There were two instant millionaires from the latest drawing. One player walked away with $1 million after winning the Match 5. However, the other player hit the Match 5 with a Power Play and won $2 million.

There were 26 Match 4 plus Powerball winners that won $50,000. Meanwhile, seven players won the Match 4 plus Powerball with a Power Play winning $150,000.

Other winnings from the night ranged between $4 to $300.

Winners of the lottery have the option of collecting the jackpot through a lump sum payment or an annuity. Players who chose to receive their winnings through the annuity will receive 30 payments for 29 years. The payments of the annuity increase 5% each year until the final payment is made.

The lottery can be played in 45 states, including the U.S. Virgin Islands, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. Powerball numbers are drawn on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
