The Powerball drawing on Wednesday was worth an estimated $132 million with a cash value of $94.2 million. However, it failed to produce a grand prize winner, which means the jackpot will continue to grow.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Wednesday night were 1, 2, 24, 50, 57, with a red Powerball of 26. The Power Play was 2X.

The next Powerball drawing will happen on Saturday night. The jackpot will climb to an estimated $146 million with a $104.2 million cash option.

Even though there was no grand prize winner following the latest Powerball drawing, one lottery player became an instant millionaire. A player from New York hit the Match 5 and won $1 million.

The player could have won $2 million if they would have matched five numbers with the 2X Power Play.

Several smaller monetary prizes also resulted from the Wednesday Powerball drawing. There were three players who hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball and won $50,000 each.

Meanwhile, there were also three players who hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball with a Power Play, winning $100,000. The other monetary wins from the night ranged between $4 and $200.

The latest Powerball drawing comes after a couple traveling through Christiansburg, Virginia claimed a $2 million prize. Jerry and Teresa Maples were traveling through 11 states and purchased a lottery ticket in each one.

The Maples hit the Match 5 with the Power Play following the Sept. 27 drawing. If the couple would have matched all five numbers plus the red Powerball, they would have won the jackpot, which was worth an estimated $545 million at the time.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million. Powerball can be played in all states, with the exceptions of Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nevada, and Utah. A Powerball ticket costs $2.
