The Powerball drawing on Wednesday night did not result in a grand prize winner for the estimated $50 million jackpot with a cash value of $34.9 million. However, there were plenty of other wins as the jackpot grew to an estimated $60 million.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Wednesday night were 23, 29, 47, 59, 60, with a red Powerball pull of 15. The PowerPlay was 2X.

The next Powerball drawing will take place on Saturday. The jackpot will reach an estimated $60 million with a $41.8 million cash option.

Despite the lack of a grand prize winner from the recent drawing, there were was one player who became an instant millionaire.

A player from North Dakota matched five numbers and won $1 million. However, if the player would have hit the Match 5 with the 2X Power Play they would have won $2 million.

There were a few smaller monetary prizes that also resulted from the Wednesday Powerball drawing.

There were six players who hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball and won $50,000 each. None of those players matched four numbers plus the Powerball with the 2X Power Play and missed the chance to win $100,000.

Lottery jackpot winners can receive their grand prize through a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity. Winners who choose the annuity receive one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments, which increase by 5% each year.

Powerball is played in 45 states, including Washington, D.C., as well as Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
