Did Jessa Seewald Have Her Baby Yet? Jim Bob Duggar Updates On ‘Counting On’ Family

The Duggar family is about to get a little bit bigger! “Counting On” viewers learned last year that Jessa and Ben Seewald are expecting baby No. 2. Now, the question on viewers’ minds is: when will baby Seewald arrive?

While Jessa is far along in her second pregnancy, it doesn’t appear she’s delivered her second child just yet. Over the weekend, the 24-year-old reality star posted a shot of her burgeoning baby bump on Instagram. Jessa shared the picture alongside a throwback shot of her pregnant with her firstborn, son Spurgeon, in 2015. “First-second,” she captioned the photo.

Jessa added a pregnancy update for her fans in the post as well. According to her post, she’s officially 39 weeks pregnant.

While it’s been two days since Jessa’s last update, and a week since Ben posted to his Instagram page, the latest posts from the Duggar family indicate the new addition hasn’t arrived yet. On Sunday morning, Jessa’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, posted an inspirational quote to their official Facebook fan page. On Saturday, the parents of 19 shared an update on their family and did not mention Jessa and Ben’s baby.

The update included a sweet family photo of Israel Dillard, 1, holding onto a football while sitting on his grandfather Jim Bob’s lap. “He sure does love his grandpa!” reads the caption.

Jessa revealed in August 2016 that she and Ben were expecting baby No. 2 to arrive in February. The couple has not announced the gender of their child in an effort to make it a surprise for family, fans and friends.

“We did the same thing with our last baby. We kept it a secret. My family doesn’t really care for it,” Jessa said in a TLC.com video. “But we have fun keeping it a surprise.”

Baby Seewald isn’t the only addition coming to the Duggar family this year. Israel’s parents, Jill and Derick Dillard, are also expecting their second child. Their new addition is due this summer.

For now, Duggar family fans can catch up with the family on “Counting On.” New episodes air Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
