Kevin Hart and Don Cheadle have cleared the air after a clip from the comedian's new Peacock talk show went viral on social media.

In a recent episode of "Hart to Heart," which was described by the streaming service as "unplanned, unscripted and unfiltered," the 42-year-old comedian was taken aback once learning Cheadle's age. As the "Iron Man" actor revealed that he was 56, Hart remarked, "Damn!" After an awkward silence, Hart offered an apology, saying he "didn't mean it that way."

The viral moment sparked debate among social media users over whether or not it was a joke between the two or if the "Avengers: Endgame" star actually felt insulted. However, he and Hart appeared to prove there's no bad blood between them with their recent social media interactions.

On Saturday, Hart shared the viral clip on his Twitter account, tweeting, "Why in the hell is Don Cheadle trending?? If you haven't watched my new talk show 'Hart to Heart' you are missing out damn it!!!!"

Cheadle responded to Hart's tweet by sharing a hilarious encounter with a fan. "[While] checking into my flight this morning, [the] counter lady looks at me, smiles wide, eyes get [eyes emoji], 'Don Cheadle!?!' I nod demurely, not unused to it. She blurts out, 'Damn!'" he wrote, adding, "Next time I see you [Kevin], you best cross the street..."

The actor also later responded to a fan who asked, "What went through your mind at the moment?"

"That @KevinHart4real and I need to do a movie together asap! I think this is my favorite interview ever. 'Damn!'” he tweeted in response.

Fans appeared to enjoy the two stars' banter, and they were also impressed with Cheadle's acting skills.

"How is it that Don Cheadle can make anything look cool? I swear that man could eat Cheetos in flip-flops and he'd make it appear like the coolest thing ever. That is a skill," one Twitter user commented.

"Don Cheadle never stops trending. Even when you ain't talking about him you still thinking 'where Don Cheadle at?'" another tweeted.

"Cheadle's acting is always so good, though, that he doesn't break character. [There's not] even a hint to let you know that it's a joke so you don't know what to believe. Also, any 'Avenger' is ageless," a third user wrote with a wink emoji.

Some expressed support for a potential movie starring both Cheadle and Hart.

"This is the buddy comedy I didn’t know I needed. I was busy as hell but watched the whole damn interview. It was a master class in timing, authenticity, improv and body language. Just so so so good!" one fan commented.

"Seriously I could see them as brothers in a comedy. Sort of a 'Death at a Funeral' vibe," another suggested.

"I would totally watch you two do a 'Lethal Weapon' reboot like 600 times! His 'damn' and your face = onscreen magic," wrote another, adding a laughing emoji.
