Meghan Markle's mom, Doria Ragland, was spotted at Shabazz Bakery in Downtown Inglewood, California. She left the shop with a small selection of goods and got back into her car, on Tuesday.

Ragland kept her head down as she walked back to her vehicle. For the said sighting, the Yoga instructor sported a pair of patterned trousers and an orange top.

Just days ago, a friend of Prince Charles slammed Markle's family on her father's side. According to Nicky Haslam, Thomas Markle Sr. is a "huge lump."

"They're frightfully common. It would have been awful if that huge lump had been there. The royals probably don't quite know how to deal with them," Haslam said, referring to Markle's father and the rest of her family.

However, Haslam made an exception of the Duchess of Sussex's mom. "One person who wasn't common was her mother," he added.

Markle's mother was her only family member who attended the royal wedding. The former actress also invited her dad and even asked him to be the one to give her away on her big day. However, Thomas was involved in a photo scandal in the run-up of Prince Harry and Markle's nuptials. He underwent a major heart surgery just days prior to the event and eventually decided to cancel his attendance.

According to an insider, Ragland's highlight at the royal wedding after witnessing the couple's exchange of vows was meeting Queen Elizabeth II.

"Doria is saying the biggest highlight of the wedding, of course after watching her daughter say 'I do' to the man she loves, was meeting the queen," the insider told Us Weekly. "It would have been extremely intimidating for anyone, but Meghan and Harry really did a marvelous job of preparing her [with] what to expect."

In related news, Markle's half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., and half-sister, Samantha Markle, had been pleading with the duchess to invite them to the royal wedding. However, after failing to receive an invite, Samantha said she didn't feel snubbed because no one on Ragland's side was invited either.

"No one in my father's side of the family was invited and neither was anyone on Doria's side of the family... you can't hold that against her," Samantha said in an interview with 2DayFM. "The traffic there would have been chaotic. I was more comfortable watching it from home. But I certainly don't feel snubbed, because no one was invited."
