‘Dragon Quest: The Adventure Of Dai’ Episode 74 Details [Spoilers]

Avan returns and saves Popp and Hadlar. Now, Dai and his friends are overjoyed to see their beloved hero alive in "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai" Episode 74.

The new episode is titled "Return of the Great Hero."

The official promo trailer of Episode 74 is out. Avan was believed to have died protecting Popp and Dai from Dark Commander Hadlar.

However, Avan’s return is a massive boost to Dai and his comrades. With his return, the Disciples of Avan are bewildered and overjoyed.

Together with the greatest hero of all time, the team heads to Vearn’s palace.

In Episode 73, titled "The Hope in the Flames," Dai, Popp and Hadlar were imprisoned by Killvearn’s trap. Popp was trying his best to protect Hadlar, Dai and himself from the flames.

But he knew he wouldn’t be able to hold it any longer. Meanwhile, Hadlar snapped at the duo and said they should be ashamed to call themselves Avan’s disciples.

He said if they die like this, they would disappoint Avan in the afterlife. Popp was getting annoyed because Hadlar was the one who killed Avan in the first place. And now, he was giving them a lecture on how they were a disappointment to Avan.

“Killvearn’s trap imprisoned Dai, Popp, and Hadlar. Powerful flames gradually eat away at their stamina and spirits. Dai and Popp begin to lose hope. Just then, a single ray of light shines through. Can they escape this hopeless situation...?!” read the official synopsis of "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai" Episode 73, as per Crunchyroll.
