Drake's musical career is filled with many memorable moments. From selling millions of records worldwide to playing live on some of the biggest stages and churning out hit song after song, it seems like he has done it all. The "Started From The Bottom" rapper may have accomplished a lot in his 14-year career, but he has never had a No.1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. His song "Hotline Bling" may give the Canadian rapper another accolade, one that he would hold as the greatest moment of his career to date.

Drake, 28, posted to Instagram Thursday thanking fans for the memories and sharing his thoughts on what a No.1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 would mean to him. The song currently sits at No.2 on the chart and could break into the No.1 spot by week's end.

"No accolades really matter to me other than the fact that I have never had a Bllboard number one If I get my first number one during the month of October it will be the biggest moment of my career to date (in my mind) and if you are looking for me on that particular evening I will be passed out in the water slide that connects to our pool," Drake wrote.

With all of the commercial success Drake has had over the years, it's a bit surprising he has never had a No.1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 before. The closest he's ever come to reaching the top of the chart was with his break out single, "Best I Ever Had," from of his 2009 EP "So Far Gone." Five of his albums have gone on to reach No.1 on the Billboard 200, including both of his 2015 releases "If You're Reading This, It's Too Late" and his mixtape with Future, "What a Time to Be Alive." His long-running feud with Meek Mill also helped the rapper have much commercial success in 2015.

Drake is only the fourth artist ever to have more than 100 songs make the Hot 100 chart, according to Billboard. He has had 15 singles reach No.1 on Billboard's Hot Rap Songs chart in his career. The rapper will spend the rest of 2015 writing and recording his next album, "Views From The 6," which is expected to be released in 2016 and will most likely also find its way into a No.1 spot on the Billboard charts.
