  • Prince Charles is happier and more confident because of Camilla

Camilla Parker Bowles has reportedly transformed Prince Charles ever since they started dating.

While speaking with Hello! magazine, royal author Penny Junor said that before dating the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Charles used to be very serious. In fact, the public rarely saw him smiling or laughing. Junor also said that Prince Charles was quite a morose character, but his personality has changed while in a relationship with Camilla.

The royal expert also credited Camilla for helping her husband get rid of his sullen trait. According to Junor, Prince Charles is also more confident because of his wife.

While speaking with Express, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said that Camilla also provides Prince Charles with the vital support that he needs. Ever since the couple tied the knot, it has been Camilla’s role to support and love her husband.

“They work extremely well as a team both at home and abroad and this is a time when the royal family needs senior members who are hard-working and unshowy. Her charitable work is very significant,” he said.

Meanwhile, other than loving, supporting, and transforming Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall will also be influential when the husband ascends the throne.

While speaking with Town & Country, Joe Little, managing editor of Majesty magazine, said that Prince Charles would want Camilla by his side when the time comes.

“The Prince of Wales that we see today would not be the man that he is, the future king that he is, without the woman that he clearly loves,” Little said.

In related news, Prince Charles and Camilla also made headlines this week after Clarence House released their Christmas card. The photo featured in the card was taken in Cuba during the royal couple’s overseas engagement.

The picture also shows Prince Charles driving a vintage vehicle, while Camilla is sitting and waving beside him.
