Emma Stone has secretly married her fiancé Dave McCary after postponing their March wedding due to the pandemic, according to an insider.

Stone and McCary sparked marriage rumors after they were spotted wearing matching gold bands. Stone was seen sporting the ring in May when she partnered with Reese Witherspoon for a virtual conversation about mental health and the pandemic. They were also photographed together with their matching gold rings, prompting E! News to speculate that they might have opted for a "much safer, private ceremony."

An insider has now confirmed via Page Six that Stone and McCary have indeed secretly married. However, the outlet did not share details about the wedding.

The "La La Land" star and the "Saturday Night Live" segment director have been together for three years already. The couple met on "SNL" when Stone hosted the show in December 2016. McCary even directed Stone's hilarious skit "Wells for Boys," Cosmopolitan reported.

In June 2017, they were seen leaving together at the "Brigsby Bear" premiere. In October 2017, sources revealed that Stone and McCary were already dating for months.

In December 2018, Stone hosted a roller-skating party and was spotted getting cozy with McCary.

"They stood right next to the stage in their skates for all of Haim’s set, dancing together and singing along," a source told Us Weekly at the time.

"At one point, they slow-danced to a somewhat upbeat song. He initiated it and she excitedly followed. They held hands [with] his other hand around her waist and hers around his shoulders.”

Stone also hinted in 2018 that she was ready to get married and start a family. In an interview with Elle, she looked back at how she just lived her dreams, got her job done and made friends. At the time, she asked herself, “Now, what do I actively want as an adult?” Then she realized that she wanted to have her own family.

“My perspective about kids has changed as I've gotten older,” Stone said.

“I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was like, I'm never getting married, I'm never having kids. And then I got older and I was like, I really want to get married, I really want to have kids.”
