‘Empire’ Season 2 Spoilers: New Key Art Photo Shows Cookie And Lucious Back In Power

Get your first “Empire” Season 2 shot right here! Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) are back, and those two mean business.

A new tweet posted by the official “Empire” account shows Lucious and Cookie side-by-side on golden chairs, rocking steely stares and a shiny new look. A pair of lions join the Lyon, but they also show who’s really the king of the record industry jungle. Interesting that they have only Lucious and Cookie in the photo since it looks like Cookie may be moving on to a new love interest in Season 2.

Spoiler TV posted alternative shots of the new key art featuring the Lyon power couple. This time, Lucious stands behind the true ruler of the roost, Cookie. Both lions sit calmly by as the two Lyons look out at their loyal subjects, I mean, audience.

The photos come on the heels of a very busy last week for the Fox drama. Both Kelly Rowland and Marisa Tomei recently signed to appear on “Empire.” They join the growing list of Season 2 celebrity cameos that include Chris Rock and Alicia Keys. One lucky fan will even have the opportunity of a walk-on role should they hit the right notes with “Empire” producers.
